How does Manifestation Work?

As the popular adage goes, we're all capable of manifesting. Our manifestation abilities are intrinsic to us and exist irrespective of individual beliefs and experiences. However, sometimes, the subconscious mind can interfere with these abilities. We've all come across myriad manifestation strategies such as writing affirmations multiple times. While these are beneficial, they are merely surface-level strategies.

 

To truly understand the manifestation process, it's crucial to appreciate that it's not a skill or strategy. Manifestation is an inherent system within us. We manifest all the time, even without our knowledge. This unconscious manifestation is profoundly influenced by our beliefs, which are shaped by factors such as our upbringing and experiences.

 

The Role of The Subconscious Mind

So, what is subconscious manifestation? To answer that, we need first to understand what the subconscious mind is and when it's more powerful. The subconscious mind, our internal database, is the primitive part of our mind responsible for our survival. It is the part of us that ensures we breathe, eat, and drink, without us consciously doing so.

 

The subconscious mind operates independently of our conscious awareness. It's responsible for 90-95% of our reality while the conscious mind, the modern and present part of our mind, controls only 5-10% of our reality. The subconscious mind is the multitasker within us. It handles many things simultaneously, thinking about many different aspects and controlling our body's functions, all while remaining outside of our awareness.

 

Harnessing the Power of the Subconscious Mind

Our subconscious mind is an influential force, and it will guide us wherever we desire, provided we communicate with it effectively. Consequently, it's essential to be mindful of our thoughts and belief systems. If we believe that we can't manifest or change our circumstances, our subconscious mind will internalize this belief and respond accordingly.

 

The subconscious mind is a record keeper of everything we've experienced, from traumatic events to happy moments. It's crucial to shine a light on these memories or 'imprints' as they significantly shape our behaviors and responses to life's situations.

 

Our subconscious minds turn these imprints into patterns that direct our actions, our courage, and our will to undertake different tasks. If our subconscious mind operates based on outdated information or programs, it can lead to decisions that are misaligned with our current goals.

 

Updating Your Subconscious Programming

For those struggling to manifest their desires despite employing various strategies, the key may lie in your subconscious mind. To change your reality, it's essential to change your subconscious programming. Consciously communicate with your subconscious mind and shine a light on any fears or experiences that may have left an imprint on your subconscious mind. [00:00:00] Today we are talking all about the subconscious mind's role in manifestation and how your subconscious mind will have a direct impact on your manifestation abilities, if we can call them abilities, because to be honest, as you guys know, you're all capable of manifesting. We all have the manifestation abilities.

It's just that the subconscious mind, which is what we're gonna talk about today, can sometimes interfere with. The ability. So you may have seen a lot of manifestation strategies, you may have seen a lot on TikTok, YouTube, like, uh, writing out something three times, six times, nine times, things like that.

And it's fine. You know, whatever technique or strategy or whatever works for you, I don't care. All I want you to do is be able to live your best life. But the issue is, is that I believe these. Are very vague and surface [00:01:00] level strategies to manifest because. There is no one way to manifest, but I feel like there is one route to manifestation in general, because manifestation isn't necessarily a skill or a strategy.

Manifestation, I believe, is a system inside of us when manifesting all the time, whether we. Want to believe that or not. And because of our beliefs, because of how we grew up, where we grew up, who we grew up with, all of these beliefs are different for each and every single one of us. Even two identical twins who live in the same house, who have been to the same school, will have two different perspectives, two different perceptions of life.

Because every single one of us. Is different. And that's why there is no one way to do it because each bus has our own belief system embedded inside of us. [00:02:00] But manifestation is a process of bringing something into the reality that's all. It's, and the surface level manifestation practices aren't necessarily wrong, but they might be a little bit misleading.

Uh, they might give you a little bit of a. False impression as to what manifestation is and how it works. And you know, I will always say that we do not know what is true. We do not know what manifestation is. We do not know what the universe is. We do not know what we are. Nothing. We can all just form our own beliefs and live by that and accept each other's beliefs.

So the root to manifestation lives. In your subconscious system, your subconscious programming, your subconscious mind, however you wanna call it, the quick strategies, the quick practices are fine. [00:03:00] But I really want you to think of it like this. So let's say you are trying to get more toned, you are trying to build more muscle in the gym, and quick manifestation is gonna be like going to the gym five times a week.

Okay? So quick methods that you might see going to the gym five times a week, lifting weights, uh, doing all that stuff. But you're still coming home and you're eating like a McDonald's, you're eating a chocolate cake, uh, you are eating whatever you want. You're eating a Chinese takeaway, you're eating whatever you want when you come home, but you are putting in the hours in the gym five times a week, and you're doing all that, right?

So it's all very well and fine, like you have part of it nailed, which is the going to the gym, putting in the effort. But you're still coming home and your diet isn't quite, Right. So you'll get some kind of result, but you won't get the full result because we know going to the gym is [00:04:00] gonna require not just putting in the effort in the gym, but putting in the effort in what you are eating as well, so that the two things can come together and create a really good transformation.

So it's the same with manifestation, like yes, you can absolutely. Do some quick things, do some quick tips, put in some good effort on the surface, and it looks like it's working, but that really is just about going to the gym, lifting weights, putting in the work, uh, for everyone to see. That's kind of like the 20%, isn't that what they say?

That they're going to the gym or like, uh, changing the way you look. 80% of it is dire and 20% of it is actually like the work that you put in in the gym. I don't know if that's true, but. It's the same kind of thing, using the quick manifestation processes and tips that will get you 20% of the way, but in order to actually change yourself, in order to [00:05:00] change your life, in order to have long-term results that actually work, that is the 80% part that is the.

Eating the diet in terms of the gym and in terms of manifestation, 20% are the quick tips and strategies. 80% is doing the actual. Inner work. Many, many people fail to see the results with manifestation because they do not go deeper into their belief system, into their subconscious mind. So the subconscious mind, if you aren't aware of the subconscious mind, if it's fairly new to you.

This is like the primitive part of your mind. It's like the part of your mind that is still in caveman times. It's still kind of fighting for your survival. It doesn't really care about anything else other than you surviving. It doesn't really care about your happiness. It really just cares about you being alive.

Do you have access to air? Do you have access to water and food? So the subconscious [00:06:00] mind is really. Uh, deep within us, it is outside of our conscious awareness because we have the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. So the conscious mind is like the modern part of the mind. It's the piece of the mind that is present right now, and it kind of feels in control of, uh, the day-to-day stuff.

It's not necessarily in control of the day-to-day stuff, but it feels it. So I say that it's not necessarily in control because. Actually, it is believed that your subconscious mind is responsible for about 90 to 95% of your reality while the conscious mind, okay, then part of your mind that you are aware of the logical mind.

That's actually only responsible for like five to 10% of who you are and your reality, what you see in front of you. So the subconscious mind can handle lots of different things all at [00:07:00] once, whereas the conscious mind, it can only focus on one thing at a time. So the subconscious mind is like the multitasker, whereas the conscious mind is like, it just wants one thing.

It can only concentrate on one thing, and the subconscious mind can actually work in the background to think about lots of things, to control lots of things. And you are not meant to be aware of it. If you were aware of it, you would go crazy. So think about like your cardiovascular system. Think about your breathing, think about your digestive system.

All of these systems are in your. Body and they are working, they are working without you having to do anything. You are not sitting there thinking, Ooh, can't forget to breathe. You're not sitting there thinking like, okay, I'm just gonna, I'm just eaten my lunch and now I just need to, uh, concentrate, make sure my digestive system digests that.

Food. Like, can you imagine? You wouldn't get anywhere. You wouldn't be able to do anything. And then through all that you're thinking, oh, and [00:08:00] then I need to breathe, and then I need to pump blood around my body. And it, it would drive you crazy, which is why you have the subconscious mind that can control everything.

It can do everything. It can pump the blood, it can digest where you, it can breathe for you. But it could also think about. Million other things in the background as well. So it's the perfect multitasker, whereas you being aware you can only really do one thing and think one thing at the same time. So your subconscious mind is so, so powerful and it will basically take you to wherever you want to go.

Should you communicate to it correctly, and this is why it's so, so important to become more aware of your thoughts and. Being more aware of what you actually believe because your belief system is ingrained into you, and if your belief system believes that nothing is possible for you, that you can't do it, that you will never change [00:09:00] your circumstances.

That is information that is being fed to the subconscious and the subconscious really doesn't care. You know, the subconscious, just like I said, it wants to know that you can eat it, wants to know that you can drink it wants to know that you can breathe. That's all. But equally, the subconscious will still soak up information that you tell it.

So if you feel like you are struggling, if you feel like it's not possible, if you want to manifest something, if you want to change your life, but deep, deep down, like your belief system, you really believe that it's not gonna happen. That's what your subconscious mind is hearing, and that's what your subconscious mind is listening to.

And it takes everything literally, and it will direct you. It will give you ideas, it will give you action, it'll give you inspiration to direct you to where it believes you want to go. So our subconscious mind in particular, It's like a database of everything we have ever experienced. It is a database of every single trauma, every single time that we were fighting [00:10:00] for survival.

Every single time that we were happy, every single time that we were worried, scared, or felt a feeling of judgment or anything. Okay. It's your mental database and imprints are being made into the subconscious mind. All the time, and I want you to think of sand. If you take your hand and you press your hand into the sand and then you take your hand away, what is left?

An imprint of your hand. So every single time, like I said, you have a memory and experience. It gets stored into the database. But if there's something especially horrible or a trauma or there's something that upset you or caused some kind of negative feeling, that impression becomes stronger in the sand.

It leaves more of a mark on your subconscious mind and your [00:11:00] subconscious mind struggles to put it and file it nicely in its database. So that imprint is kind of left. Because it can't store it. It's made too much of a deep impression. So when you think, you know, this is all happening from the day we took our first breath, literally the day that we opened our eyes imprints of things being pressed into our subconscious.

Some things are getting filed away, but many things are not, and these are the things that shape us. These are the things that give us fear. These are the things that make us worry about what other people might say, what other people might think, because we have. Thousands of imprints being left on our subconscious mind from that minute we opened our eyes.

Think about in school. Okay? You may have had a really great experience in school. I personally didn't particularly like school. I didn't necessarily [00:12:00] have an awful experience, but I didn't particularly like it, and I certainly have imprints from school left in my subconscious that have affected who I have become because subconscious.

Is always storing the information and when it can't store the information, it's kind of left and when that information is left. Subconscious mind is gonna try and get you to avoid anything that might get you to another similar situation of how that imprint came to be. And all of this is happening below your awareness, okay?

You are just living your day-to-day life. There are some things that you are scared of doing. There are some things that you avoid doing, and it might not necessarily be that you are scared of bungee jumping, but it might be that you are scared of public speaking, and that's very likely that you have an imprint.

About speaking up, people looking at you. You have an imprint left in your subconscious. That hasn't actually been stored properly. [00:13:00] Therefore, subconscious feels like that's a scary thing and it wants to keep you alive. So it's gonna actually get you to avoid doing that thing again. Because it still has that imprint, it still has that memory that it couldn't file away.

So from this, we are molded. You can imagine all these, uh, imprints, think of like a big, huge block of Play-Doh and then just put all of these hand prints all over the Play-Doh. And this is how you are molded and formed and shaped as a person because everything is going on underneath the surface. It becomes our conditioning, it becomes our way of being.

And we don't realize because we aren't aware of it, because we are aware of what our conscious mind is doing. We are not aware of our subconscious. Until we shine light on it, and today I may have helped you shine a bit of light onto some of those imprints that have been left on your subconscious. So these [00:14:00] imprints turn into patterns.

These beliefs that are formed from the imprints turn into patterns. They are just patterned responses that form. Uh, every day the direction of where we go, how willing we are to do things, and to the courage we have to do things. And if your subconscious mind is running off an outdated program from when you were young and you haven't actually shn any light on those imprints, it becomes you.

And you end up running from an outdated program. Therefore, all of your decisions, all of your future decisions are made from data from an outdated program.

So if you wanna make a change, if you want to manifest something into your life,

if you wanna use your subconscious mind to take you somewhere where you want to go, and no matter what you do, You just cannot seem to [00:15:00] get there, and you are doing all the manifestation strategies.

You are doing all the things, all the tips, all the ideas, and you just can't get there. It's very likely that you are still running off an outdated program from your subconscious mind.

So to change your reality, Change your subconscious programming. Look at how you communicate to your subconscious. Shine a light on any fears, any things, experiences, situations that may have left an impression in your subconscious mind. 

Allow your mind. To file it in the database so that the impression isn't there anymore and you can move forward.

Because what you see in your reality is what you believe to be true, and what you see in your reality [00:16:00] is what you believe to be true about you. Your life. What is possible for you? The opportunities you have for you. Everything is a mirror. Okay? Your external view of the world, your external opportunities of the world, is mirroring back to you every single impression thought, belief that lives inside of your subconscious.

And as you guys will know, I believe that manifestation is completely tied to belief, completely tied to subconscious, completely tied to what you believe to be true for you, and what beliefs you are subscribed to.
