1. What is Numerology?

Numerology is the soul's map for our time on Earth. It delves deep into our date of birth and name, suggesting that our souls choose these specifics based on the experiences we need for evolution. This system doesn’t predict events but offers a guiding sequence, much like a map, that you unconsciously follow.

2. The Impact of External Factors

From childhood, societal norms, cultural values, and ancestral beliefs influence our identities. We often live through patterns set by others, which may not resonate with our true selves. There comes a time when we question, “Who am I? What is my purpose?” Numerology provides insights, acting as a tool to uncover your authentic self, much like astrology or human design.

3. The Essence of Your Numerological Makeup

Your numerological DNA is unique, reflecting the infinite personalities on Earth. No two people, even twins, share the same numerical blueprint.

4. Three Core Numbers to Understand Your Purpose

• Life Path Number (Based on Date of Birth): The central lesson of your life.
  • Example: Born on 1st November 1994? Here’s how you calculate: 1 + (11 – a master number) + (1+9+9+4 = 23; 2+3 = 5) = 17 1 + 7 = 8. So, you’re a life path 8!
• Expression or Destiny Number (Based on Full Name): It's about the skills you have and need to express for your journey.
  • Tip: Use the Pythagorean Numerology Alphabet Grid to assign numbers to letters in your name and calculate its digital root.
• Heart’s Desire or Soul Urge Number (Based on Vowels in Name): Reveals your deepest aspirations.

5. It’s More About Frequency Than Concrete Paths

Numerology doesn't dictate a specific career or action. It’s about tuning into a particular frequency or energy. It's an embodiment of your identity, an intention that guides you. For instance, a ‘5’ in your number may indicate freedom, exploration, and change, but it's up to you how you interpret and integrate this energy.

[00:00:00] So, as you know, numerology relates to your characteristics, your challenges, your greatest gifts, your life purpose, your karma. So much can be discovered through numerology , and I like to say that it's your soul's map to your time here on earth.

And in numerology, it is believed that you choose your name and date of birth before you incarnate on Earth, depending on what karma or what experiences your soul needs to have in the world in order to allow it to continue to evolve and ascend.

And you know, everything is always just a lens to look through, numerology might not fit your belief system, and that is fine. But if we could just look through this lens, for this podcast, you will get value from it.

Now, numerology can't tell you exactly what is going to happen in your life, it won't control you, it won't make decisions for you, [00:01:00] but it can create a sequence. A bit like a map that you unconsciously follow. 

So, in childhood, we start forming these identities, and these identities are based on society, culture, our caregivers, our parents, our feeders, the way we're raised, their beliefs, and then their parents beliefs. This all just keeps rippling through our lives, and we become adults. And then, all of a sudden, we might start thinking...

Who am I? Because I've been living to a pattern of someone else's beliefs. I've been living a pattern of the way I feel I should live. And actually it's not serving me anymore. It's making me feel unfulfilled and it's making me miserable.

You might look at yourself and think, I'm not the person I thought I was. I'm not the person that I've been pretending to be. I'm not the person I've been acting to be. And then, you can just be left in this void. [00:02:00] If I'm not that person, and that identity doesn't fit me anymore, then who am I?

What is my identity? What am I meant to do? What is my life purpose? And we can be left in this void until we start understanding ourselves on this deeper level. And this is exactly what happened to me, which is how I discovered numerology, which is how numerology was such a pivotal point in my life.

It was such a catalyst. And as you know, if you've listened to my podcast a lot, Numerology is just a tool. It's just a tool like astrology, human design, all the things. It's a tool that can really help you identify who you are on a soul level. Because connecting to your numerology feels like home. It makes everything make sense. It gave me a feeling of total liberation. Of total acceptance of myself. So in numerology, you're made up of all these numbers. And these numbers are like your energetic makeup.

 , your numerology is almost like a [00:03:00] string of DNA, Like this never ending strand of a sequence of numbers that is making up this incredible. Unique you. And, of course, we know that numbers are infinite. There is no end to numbers.

And there are no ends to the different types of people that we could have on Earth. I mean, there are billions of people on Earth. There are no... Two people who are the same. You can have identical twins, and they are completely different. Because it doesn't matter who you're related to, whether you're a twin, a triplet, whether there is someone who is almost like you've been separated at birth, they are still going to be different in some way.

Because there are... There are infinite personalities available, and there are infinite numbers available. And this is why numerology is just so beautiful. So, when we think about finding our true purpose, , embodying getting on that path of ultimate fulfillment. When we're [00:04:00] doing this through a numerology lens, you look at three numbers.

That is it. Just three single numbers and this is your life path number, which is the date of birth. Your expression number, which is sometimes known as your destiny number, and this is based on your full name at birth.

And your heart's desire number, also known as your soul edge number, and this is based on the vowels in your name. So your life path number is like the major lesson of your chart, the major lesson of your life, it's The reason of your being. So the life path number is super important.

Then your expression number is like the skills, okay? The skills that you have, the skills that you might need to acquire and master and express to help you navigate this life, to help lead you onto this path of ultimate fulfillment. And then your heart's desire is, like, your deepest aspirations.

It's your [00:05:00] deepest visions, your deepest dreams. So you as a person, you'll have your vision board, you'll know what you want to manifest, you know what goals you want to achieve, but then, your soul has its own craving as to what it deeply desires in this lifetime. And it might not quite align with your manifestation, with what's on your vision board.

That's not to say that what's on your vision board is wrong. That's not to say that what you want to achieve in this life is wrong. It's never wrong. But equally, knowing that heart's desire number, Is going to allow you to go after what it is you want, go after all the things on your vision board, but equally satisfy your soul as well.

That's going to give you fulfillment.

 So I'm going to tell you how to calculate your life path number. You need to write out your birthday. Okay, so let's say you were born on the 1st of November 1994. You would write 01 slash 11 slash 1994.

The first step is to get [00:06:00] all of the numbers calculated down to the digital root. Now there is a caveat here and I've purposely chosen this date.

11 is a master number. So you have 11, 22, 33. They are all master numbers. We never ever calculate master numbers down to the digital root. If the number in question was a 23, you would calculate that down to the digital root by adding 2 plus 3.

23, 2 plus 3, 2 plus 3 equals 5. So 5 would be the digital root of 23. But I'm using 11 here just to make things difficult. 

Get you really practicing. So taking the date the 11th of 1994, 1 already is a single digit number, so we leave that. 11 is a master number, so we leave that. Now we need to tackle 1994. So you would do 1 plus 9 plus 9 plus 4. That is 23. 2 plus 3 equals 5. So you are then left with 3 numbers.

You are left with 1, , 11 and five, and you would add those together, keeping 11 as it is, and that would be 17.

And because you're [00:07:00] left with 17, which is not a single digit number, you would work out the digital route. One plus seven is eight. So you would be a life path eight.

So that's how you work out your life path number. You then look at your full name at birth.

And what you need to do for this is you either need to go to Google or go into my free Facebook group that's always linked in the show notes, and you need to get yourself the Pythagorean Numerology Alphabet Grid. And this grid is going to show you numbers 1 to 9, and what numerical value each letter of the alphabet is.

So then you're going to do the same with your full name at birth. You're going to assign each letter of your name with the relevant number.

And if you are adopted, or you don't know your full name at birth, would just go by your name now. Once you have a string of numbers that relate to your full name, including all your middle names, you are going to add up the numbers of your first name and middle name together.

And then you are going to calculate [00:08:00] those numbers down to the digital route. You know how to do that now because I've just told you. Then you are going to add up the numbers of your last name, okay? so we do first name and middle name . And then we do last name separately. So calculate the digital root of your last name.

And then you should be left with two single digit numbers . Then add those two numbers together. If you need to calculate back down to the digital root again, you do that. And then you're left with your expression number. Honestly, when I'm saying it out loud, it sounds more complicated than what it really is.

When you start doing this and you give it a go, you will see that it isn't actually as complicated as it sounds. 

And then to calculate the heart's desire number, you look at the vowels of your full name. So you would add up all the vowels in your first name and middle name, exactly the same process. And then again, in the surname, add together all the vowels in your surname, work out the digital route, and then you've got it.

So if you had the name Sarah Jane Amelia Thomas, you would have a heart's desire for. Now here's where it [00:09:00] might get a little bit confusing. If you have a Y in your name, the letter Y, I nearly always count that as a vowel Y is a very, very special and unique letter in Pythagorean numerology. So, let's say that Sarah Jane Amelia Thomas Was born on the 1st of November, 1994, Sarah would be a Life Path eight and expression number five, a heart's desire for, that gives you a super easy, quick way of understanding your purpose here, your journey, who you're meant to be.

With these numbers, 4, this would mean that Sarah is here to be the one who generates growth and prosperity by discovering the true meaning of freedom and experiencing life in a way that is unique to her. 8 Is all about growth, is all about prosperity, it's all about abundance, it's all about material wealth.

It's a great number and she's an expression [00:10:00] number five, which is all about freedom. . She's here to be the one who grows, be the one who can generate prosperity for herself, for others. But she's going to do this through understanding what freedom is, really getting to understand how to embody freedom, live freedom, and if she can live her life aligned to that, she is going to be a very fulfilled and very rewarded soul in the eyes of numerology. And with Sarah's expression number, which is four, this means that her soul really craves strong foundations. It craves security.

It wants stability. Her soul wants to be able to support herself. Her soul wants to be able to support others, almost be the provider. So you can see that just by knowing these three numbers, You can really get to know, okay, what am I here to achieve? How might I achieve that? And what does my soul really crave in terms of fulfillment?

Now, when you start diving into your numerology, when you start thinking about the numbers in your numerology and what they mean, I want to be really clear that it's not necessarily about giving you a concrete path to follow, as in a career path, as in an action to take, a specific thing you need to do, or a clear direction and purpose in the physical realm.

It's not saying, right, you are a Life Path 5, therefore you should go and start a business as a travel agent because 5 is all about travel and freedom and what a great career for someone who enjoys travel and freedom than to be a a travel agent or cabin crew. It's not telling you to do that.

Knowing your numerology, especially knowing your [00:12:00] three numbers of your life path number, your expression number, and your heart's desire number, these are more of a frequency. It's like an energetic expression of you. An embodiment, okay? ? It's a way of living, a way of being and doing. It's energetic, it's a frequency that you will want to amplify.

So if you have a five in one of your three core numbers, you know that's about freedom. It's about exploration, it's about change, it's about being wild. Like I said, it's not necessarily about, okay, I need to go and travel all the time. 

It's more of an embodiment of your identity.

It's like an intention that you live by with your life aligning energetically with it once you connect with the meaning of your numerology, once you connect with the meanings of your energetic blueprint, and you have the intention to embody it, you have the intention to pursue it, your mind will automatically lead you to [00:13:00] fulfillment.

Your soul knows where it needs to go.
